ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Stephanie is Director of The Fashion Careers Clinic, a specialist careers consultancy for students, graduates and job hunters seeking advice about roles in the fashion industry. She works on a consultative basis with individuals via one to one workshops, together with lecturing on a wide variety of fashion careers topics at schools and colleges across the UK.
With a background in fashion recruitment, Stephanie's client base has spanned the UK, Europe, Far East and the USA, and has ranged from high street retailers including Top Shop, to luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton. Having recruited for a vast number of clients across all sectors of the industry, Stephanie now has an in depth understanding of what companies expect from applicants, and of how job hunters can present themselves effectively to secure their dream role in fashion.
Stephanie holds a BA Honours in Fashion Design & Marketing from the University of Northumbria, and also has a BTEC Diploma in Fashion Design from Newcastle College. She has written a fashion careers column for a New York based lifestyle magazine, together with a makeovers and fashion page in a major UK newspaper.
